At the IWF World Youth Championships in Cali (Colombia) on 8 July 2026, 16-year-old Nicoleta Cojocaru (Moldova) won the women's 58kg by a wide margin and set two youth world records — clean & jerk (114kg) and total (202kg) — going 88-114-202 on five of six attempts and improving her best total by 5kg. Together with the youth snatch world record she had set earlier in Ismailia, she now holds a full set of youth world records.
