Torhall Defends Men's Style World Title at SPL5

Elis Torhall defended his men’s Style world title at the SPL5 Sport Parkour League World Championships in Vancouver, sealing a fourth straight crown at the event widely known as the World Parkour Championship.

Four titles, one city

The 22-year-old from Hovslätt in Jönköping, Sweden, led the three-day contest from the opening round. He scored highest on the first two sub-events and carried a large margin into the final day, leaving his rivals with no path to catch him.

A résumé unlike any other

His Vancouver reign began while he was still a teenager. Across those four wins he has landed several world-first tricks, a pattern that has built his name as the sport’s most inventive stylist.

The SPL5 gold joins seven World Cup titles and a FIG Parkour freestyle world championship from Kitakyushu in 2024. No other athlete in parkour holds that combination of honours across leagues and governing bodies.

“Jag är sjukt stolt,” Torhall told reporters after returning to Jönköping. He added that the feeling was still surreal, echoing words he used a year earlier when he claimed his third title in the same arena.

His words stay measured, and his winning stays automatic. On a growing stage, the Swede simply keeps extending the deepest record the sport has known.
