On 9 July 2026, American skeet legend Vincent Hancock shot a perfect 36/36 to set a new world record and win Skeet Men gold at the ISSF Shotgun World Cup in Lonato, Italy, leading a USA one-two ahead of countryman Christian Elliott (35/36). The 36/36 broke the previous world record of 35/36 (set by Italy's Gabriele Rossetti in May 2026) and marked his 30th career ISSF medal.

At the ISSF Shotgun World Cup in Lonato, Neeru Dhanda won women's trap gold, becoming the first Indian trap shooter to claim ISSF World Cup gold. She topped qualification with 121 of 125 and beat former world champion Carole Cormenier in the final.
