On 2 July 2026, on the opening day of the all-women World Para Athletics Grand Prix in Olomouc (CZE), Croatia's Karla Hergotic set a world record in the women's shot put F62 with 8.73 m on her sixth attempt — surpassing the previous world record, which had stood since 2001, by more than three metres (per the Croatian Para Athletics Association).
Para AthleticsMukhtorova Sets F40 Discus World Record at 25.71m
On 2 July 2026 at the World Para Athletics Women's Grand Prix in Olomouc (CZE), Uzbekistan's Madina Mukhtorova set a world record in the women's discus F40 with 25.71 m on her sixth and final attempt, improving Sliwinska's two-year-old world record by more than half a metre. In the same competition the Tunisian legend Raoua Tlili (7× Paralympic champion, 11× world champion) finished only bronze.

On 2 July 2026 at the World Para Athletics Women's Grand Prix in Olomouc (CZE), Kazakhstan's Irina Tychshenko improved the women's discus F45 world record twice in the same competition — first to 25.60 m on her second attempt, then to 25.72 m on her fifth. She had already set the F45 shot put and discus world records at the same meeting a year earlier.
