Lyu Jianlin and Jiang Yiting set a skeet mixed team world record of 52 points to win gold at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games on Thursday. The Chinese pair finished one point ahead of South Korea at the Aichi Prefectural General Shooting Gallery in Toyota City. The score beat the previous world mark of 47 by five points.
A final series that came down to Jiang's last four shots
The four-team final began with Qatar eliminated after the third series at 18 points. China led with 23, South Korea had 22, and India sat at 21. South Korea drew level at 30, and both teams hit all eight targets in the following series.
China edged ahead 45–44 in the penultimate series after South Korea's Lee Jong-jun missed twice. India was eliminated at that point for bronze. In the decisive final series, South Korea's Jang Kook-hee missed her second shot, leaving her pair at 51.
