About Faith

Faith Chepngetich Kipyegon is a Kenyan middle-distance runner widely regarded as the greatest women's 1500m/mile athlete in history. She is the first person of any gender to win three consecutive Olympic 1500m titles (2016, 2021, 2024) and holds the current world records in both the 1500m and the mile. In 2023 she became the first woman to run the 1500m under 3:50, and in 2025 she ran the fastest mile ever by a woman in Nike's non-record "Breaking4" exhibition. A mother who returned to elite competition after childbirth, she remains a dominant, active competitor.
