Rhiannan Iffland won the Mostar stop of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series and, with it, sealed a record-extending ninth series title. The Australian remained unbeaten in the 2026 standings, clinching the crown with one stop still to run. It was a lead she had built and never surrendered.
A ninth crown, sealed a stop early
She stood on the platform, enjoyed the moment and the energy, then asked for and received a thunderous cheer from the crowd, and then performed a fantastic jump. From the 21-metre platform on the Stari Most, she folded cleanly into the Neretva below. With this, she not only recorded another victory, but also secured her ninth consecutive title on the penultimate stop of the season.
The setting matched the moment. Unlike the first round, when divers jumped directly from the arch of the Old Bridge, a platform was used for the later rounds. The women jumped from 21 metres, and the men from 27 metres.
Iffland leads an all-Australian charge
She was joined on the podium by compatriot Xantheia Pennisi and American Kaylea Arnett. The result confirmed a season of quiet dominance, closed out before the final round in Boston. The King Kahekili Trophy will be awarded to her there.
The emotion showed once the title was safe. "I'm in shock right now, I can't believe I secured the title here in Mostar," Iffland said afterwards. She spoke of gratitude for the life she leads through her sport.
For a diver who has redrawn the record books, the ninth title reads as one more line in a long story. The margin over her rivals had rarely felt in doubt. The next chapter waits in Boston, where the trophy will be placed in her hands.
