Arriving as the top seed after a summer of relentless control, the Dutch closed out the season’s title race with the authority that has become their signature. The stop confirmed a streak unmatched in the competition’s history.

Debrecen hosted the decisive weekend just as the calendar narrowed toward the Project Redwings Shanghai Final. Only eight teams would reach that finale, and the Netherlands’ early lock on the overall crown underlined how far ahead they had pulled during the months before.

The pattern was set weeks earlier at the Sea Breeze stop in Baku, where a fourth straight title arrived via a 13–8 final win over Madrid. A quick 4–1 opening and a 7–2 cushion midway through kept full control, before a late push closed out the margin.

Through pool play and knockout rounds alike, the Dutch leant on a defence that held opponents to single-digit totals and an offence sharp enough to dismantle Czechia 21–3 in a statement victory that same weekend.
