Soyez and Alexis "zen" Bernier became the first Rocket League 2v2 world champions in history on 19 September 2026. Competing as "No Miss Just Fake," the French duo defeated Team Falcons 4-3 in a grand final pushed to its seventh game at Dickies Arena, Fort Worth.
A seventh game against twins
The final swayed game by game. Team Falcons — twin brothers Saleh "Rw9" Bakhashwin and Yazeed "Kiileerrz" Bakhashwin — took the opener and struck back hard in game four with a 5-2 win. No Miss Just Fake answered with a narrow 2-1 edge in game five.
Game six closed 5-4. The decider finished 2-3, sealing the title for the European qualifiers.
Two clubs, one historic first
Atow. and zen were the only duo in the bracket not sharing a club. One wears Karmine Corp blue, the other Team Vitality gold. Across ten series since the start of the European 2v2 Open, they had dropped only five games total before arriving in Texas.
The world title arrived just days after zen's 9th–12th place exit with Vitality in the 3v3 World Championship. He now becomes the first player to hold world titles in two Rocket League formats, having won the 3v3 crown in the 2022–23 season. Each champion earned $50,000 from the prize pool.
