About Jakob
Jakob Ingebrigtsen is the youngest of three Norwegian brothers who all became European 1500m champions. He is a double Olympic champion — 1500m in Tokyo, 5000m in Paris — a two-time outdoor world champion at 5000m, and won the 1500m/3000m double at the 2025 World Indoor Championships. He holds four ratified world records: the indoor 1500m and mile, and the outdoor 2000m and 3000m. He returned from Achilles surgery in August 2026 to win a fourth consecutive European 5000m title.
