About Christoph

Christoph Strasser, born in Leoben and raised in Styria, is an Austrian ultra-endurance cyclist. He won the Race Across America solo six times between 2011 and 2019 — more than any other rider — and his 2014 time of 7 days, 15 hours and 56 minutes remains the race record. In July 2021 he became the first person to ride more than 1,000 kilometres in 24 hours on a standard road bike. He has since shifted focus to self-supported racing.
