The 2026 FNCS Global Championship was decided not over a weekend of steady control, but in five frantic minutes of the final match. SwizzY and Pixie claimed the $400,000 top prize in Antwerp, prevailing over 49 duos across a 12-game series that stayed open until the very last fight.

One fight, five teams, a title

For most of the weekend, the leaderboard belonged to Vic0 and Malibuca. They pushed ahead on Day 2 and held close to the front as the series tightened. Then Game 12 turned everything around.

Shxrk and t3eny attacked Vic0 and Malibuca and dragged the engagement into a sprawling multi-team brawl in the mid-game. Five squads were concentrated at that single spot, fighting with the knowledge that the championship would be settled right there. Shxrk and t3eny mounted an epic run and nearly caught the leaders, but fell just a few points short when Shxrk went down.

SwizzY and Pixie weathered the chaos. They won only a single match across the entire tournament, in round ten, but their consistency built a lead that nobody could erase. By the end they had 39 eliminations, 525 points, and an average placement of 13.42 — a 32-point margin over the runners-up.

A record that travels across formats

With this victory, SwizzY becomes the first player in Fortnite esports history to win back-to-back FNCS Global Championships. A year earlier he lifted the Axe of Champions in Lyon alongside Merstach and Queasy, competing in trios. In Antwerp the format switched to duos, the partner changed, and the result stayed the same.

The duo lifted the Axe of Champions and took the lion's share of a $2 million prize pool.

Two formats, two years, two trophies.
