Sport ClimbingHunt Breaks Six-Second Barrier With 5.99 Speed Record
In the quarter-finals of the World Climbing Series in Krakow on 4 July 2026, Emma Hunt (23) climbed 5.99s to become the first woman ever under 6 seconds in speed climbing, breaking Aleksandra Miroslaw world record of 6.03 by 0.04s. She later slipped in the final; the world record stands.
