Hungary's Debre claimed the 2026 GeoGuessr World Championship at Berlin's Tempodrom, outlasting the world's best over four days of competition to take the title.

Debre won the 2026 GeoGuessr World Championship at Berlin's Tempodrom on September 5, becoming the first Hungarian to claim the title.
The final pitted Debre against France's Mathieu "Blinky" Huet, the 2024 champion. Blinky took a 2–0 lead in the best-of-five match. Debre then won three straight games to turn the contest around.
