About Shohei

Shohei Ohtani is a Japanese professional baseball player for the Los Angeles Dodgers, celebrated as the most complete two-way talent the sport has produced in over a century. A four-time unanimous MVP across both the American and National Leagues, he became the first player in MLB history to combine 50 home runs and 50 stolen bases in a single season, in 2024. He has helped the Dodgers win back-to-back World Series titles in 2024 and 2025.
