Remains the fastest time on any IRONMAN-branded 70.3 course (bike leg measured slightly short).

Recorded the highest VO2 max ever measured in a lab — 101.1 mL/(kg·min), tested in Bergen and revealed on 28 January 2026 — becoming the first athlete known to cross the 100 threshold and surpassing the previous best (Oskar Svendsen, 97.5). Remarkable for still rising at age 32.
