About Kaori

Kaori Sakamoto is a four-time world champion and one of the most consistent women's singles skaters of her era. She won three consecutive world titles from 2022 to 2024 — the first woman to do so since Peggy Fleming — and regained the title in 2026. Across three Olympic Games she won four medals without ever taking gold. She retired after the 2026 World Championships and plans to coach in Kobe.
