Josh Kerr is a Scottish middle-distance runner who became the first Scottish man to win a world 1500m title, out-kicking Jakob Ingebrigtsen in Budapest in 2023, and added Olympic bronze (2020) and silver (2024) over the same distance. In July 2026 he shattered a 27-year-old barrier, becoming the first person in history to run a mile in under 3 minutes 43 seconds with a 3:42.66 world record in London.
